County improves interoperability with Sprint
|

The City of Georgetown
and the County school districts were using older style unreliable
radios to keep in touch with facilities, schools and staff.
Within the county there are many dead zones which made it difficult
to communicate with employees, "because of these issues, when
County employees were away from their desks, they were sometimes
completely unreachable. For the safety of its citizens and
stability of its infrastructure, County and City officials, as well
as school district administrators, recognized there was a desperate
need for a more unified platform of connectivity."
