Introducing Fuelman,
the newest member of the HGACBuy Cooperative Purchasing Program.
Fuelman is a fleet management solution that helps governments of all
sizes from small municipalities to federal organizations control
their vehicle expenses and improve operational efficiencies.
Unlike credit cards and cash, Fuelman fleet cards help reduce
expenses and unauthorized spending by allowing you to restrict use to
fuel and maintenance only. Additionally, each card has customizable
authorization limits using parameters such as fuel type,
volume-pumped, time and location used, as well as dollars spent on
maintenance. So you determine how and who fuels your vehicles.
Detailed reporting outlines each transaction so you know exactly how
much fuel and other supplies are used for each vehicle, the miles per
gallon attained, and how your budget is allocated. Additionally,
Fuelman offers free tax exempt purchasing and reporting for

NS Corporation
Purchasing from HGACBuy really works! NS Corporation and HGACBuy has saved The
City of Lubbock $22,718.49 off of the list price for their Bus Wash
System.
Long Beach Transit Authority who was not a member of HGACBuy became a member to
take advantage of the great savings in cost and timed saved by
eliminating the bid process. Long Beach Transit savings is $51,584.80
by using HGACBuy.
Mid-America Regional Council (MARC)
$100,000 in Savings to Two KCRPC Members
The MARC/HGACBuy partnership has proven to be beneficial to local
agencies for cost and time savings and increased business to local
dealers and Texas contractors.
To date, end users in the MARC/KCRPC region purchased $40,000,000 of
equipment and services, through the HGACBuy partnership.
The largest contract usage has been for fire apparatus and public
works equipment. The city of Lenexa, Kan., reported savings of
approximately $50,000 based on suggested retail price of each truck
for 2008 Pierce Velocity class "A" pumpers.
The city of Warrensburg, Mo., reported an estimated savings of
$25,000 on each Pierce Contender with a six-person cab and overall
length of 29 feet.
Many other agencies are also reporting significant cost savings,
shorter delivery times, and administrative time savings.
